Are we nearly there yet??...

Well there's only one week left and all is calm...all is well, I've made it...well almost...
Its back to school next week and back to the old routine...I'm happy and sad at the same time, happy to be getting a few peaceful/childless hours back but sad to be losing the care-free/not having to rush/holiday-mode days. I'm not saying that everyday's been 'a walk in the park' but its not been as crazy-stressful as I thought it would be. The weather's played a HUGE part in this...the first four weeks of the hols was nothing but warm sunny days and we all know how the weather can make or break a holiday..especially a school holiday!
So we have made the most of it, we got out of the house as much as we could, days out, a weekend camping, bike riding, days spent at the park and a lovely weekend in London for a visit to Legoland Windsor.

We had a fantastic day... the place is huge and there is so much to see and do, we arrived at ten and didn't leave until half six, you really do need a day or two to see it all...don't think my poor feet could handle two days though!

this is the last ride we went on...your seated in pairs and you work together to pull yourselves to the top with the rope, then when you reach the top, you let go of the rope and just drop!!...and at the same time the whole thing is rotating...boy did this make my stomach flip...and not in a 'nice butterfly-flutter kinda way'... I could not wait for it to end...of course my four year old daughter loved it...she was laughing and squealing with excitement...'higher higher' she shouted.

The next day before we headed back home we had a drive around London and did abit of sight-seeing before we left, the kids loved it, especially the Tower of London and Big Ben...which we reached just in time to hear chime...and just a few minutes before my camera's battery died on me! : ( so here's some pics of London made completely from lego... Enjoy!
